Join us for an art-based support group where we will explore art making to help regulate the nervous system, promote playfulness, imagination, help develop insight, connect us more deeply to our bodies, emotions, thoughts, and world views. In the past 2 years since the synagogue shooting, we have responded with “normal reactions to an abnormal circumstance,” experienced many emotions, and strengthened our resilience in different ways. In these groups, we hope to explore together what we have learned since the events on 10/27 occurred.

Bring any basic art supplies, drawing tools, and curiosity you can find!
(examples of materials: crayons, markers, colored pencils, gel pens, pastels, pencils, paper, paint, magazines, newspaper, found objects, glue, etc).

No previous art making experience is required, just an open mind!

This event has multiple time/date offerings. You can attend just one or any of them.
